There are many users who cannot download an apk file on their android devices due to a network issue or that the files are too big (though Google Play limits app sizes to 50 MB). It would have been really help full if we could download the apk files on our computer and then transfer it to our devices. Although this is nearly impossible for iOS users, android users have many ways to do it.

The easiest way is thru a Chrome extension called APK Downloader 1.4.2. The other is an application called Real APK Leecher. Only free apps are available for download and the apps downloaded will remain in your My app list. Both these method requires the JID and device Id of your device.  There are two ways to get Email and Device ID

1. Easy way: install this Device ID app, it will show you your emails and Device ID

2. Difficult way: Open dial pad, call *#*#8255#*#* ( 8255 = TALK ). If it opens “GTalk Service Monitor”, find lines that begin with JID and Device ID. Your email is JID, and your device id is a string that after android- prefix

Once you get the JID and device id proceed with google account credentials to download the apk files.

NOTE: These method are against Google Play Terms of Service which warns the user that…
